This is one of those books I will love to hate, but still love. There were so many wonderful elements about this book that made it appealing but at the same time there were a handful of frustrating things that my emotions were all over the place. I don't know that I could accurately write a decent review without writing my own book so I will try and make this short.
The writing style was near perfection and for the most part the book flowed at an even pace. There were a few times when there was a bit too much internal dialogue for my liking but I was also able to really know the characters too.
I really enjoyed the 3 different POV's (Dani, Liam and Rick). I think it really added to the story and made me more aware of what was going on. Plus, because of having Rick's POV there was kind of a side story to the main story.
For the most part I really liked all of the characters, even the supporting characters had great roles in the story. I didn't like Rick as a person. "He was a cocky son of a b*tch" and a real ass but he added immensely to the overall story itself. Dani really started to annoying me about halfway through the book and I did lose some respect for her, so that was very upsetting. She did however have a lot of commendable qualities and that did help make up for it a bit. Liam was without a doubt the best part of this book. He was near perfection and exactly what Dani needed.
I personally don't like love triangles and I definitely don't like cheating but this was written in a way that though the love triangle got frustrating at times it wasn't to the extreme and I was glad for that.
Overall I have to say I have a love/hate relationship with this book but I am looking forward to the next book from this author.
